12. EEBIOMASS Workshop
Am 24. Januar 2024 findet der 12th EEBIOMASS Workshop zum Thema „Disturbances and resilience of Europe’s forests“ virtuell über die Plattform Zoom statt. Weitere zentrale Themen des Workshops umfassen: „The carbon sink of recovering degraded and secondary forests across the tropics: Science, Satellites, and Policy,“ „Biogeochemical and biophysical effects of tropical forest disturbances,“ sowie „How degradation, wildfire, and climate change threaten the northern peatland carbon sink.“ Der Workshop erstreckt sich über den Zeitraum von 12:30 bis 14:30 Uhr CET.
